BITSAT 2016 Important Dates
Entrance test for BITS is called as BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test). Dates for events of BITSAT 2015 has not been announced yet but candidates may refer the table below, to know tentative time period, usually when events of BITSAT 2015 takes place.

BITSAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Only eligible candidates will be allowed to write BITSAT 2016. Ineligible candidates can also fill form and pay application fee but will not be allowed to write the exam. So, it is advised that candidates check eligibility criteria, thoroughly, before applying. Eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2016 are:
- Candidates should have passed class XII/ equivalent exam in 2014 or 2015 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have score minimum aggregate of 75% in it. Apart from this, in each subjects mentioned above candidates should have scored at least 60% marks.
- Candidates who are already part of any of the BITS are eligible.
Toppers of Board exam / equivalent qualifying exam will be granted admission directly.
BITSAT 2016 Application Form
Eligible candidates can fill BITSAT 2016 application form till February 2015. BITSAT 2016 application form are available online only. Online application forms are hosted in official website. - Register and enter required details
- Make payment
- Verify and submit form
- Download and secure application form for future reference
Details filled in application form should be authentic and updated. Application fee for BITSAT 2016 is be Rs. 2090 for male candidates and Rs. 1590 for female candidates. Candidates who will be writing exam in Dubai are supposed to pay US $ 50 (for both male and female). Fee can be paid via challan or safe payment gateway (Like Net Banking and Debit/ Credit Card).
Exam Pattern of BITSAT 2016 is as below:
- Exam will be held online.
- Exam will be of 3 hours
- There will be four sections form Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English
- Physics and Chemistry section will have 40 questions each but in Mathematics section there will be 45 questions. In English section 15 questions will be presented to candidates. Hence, there will be 150 in total and candidates will have to solve them all.
- For each right answer 1 mark will be awarded and for wrong answer negative marking of 1 mark will be done.
BITSAT 2016 Result
Result will be issued by BITS Pilani on July 2016. BITSAT 2016 result will be announced online and candidates will be able to check it against roll number and application number. Result will state performance of candidate in exam and will contain sectional as well as overall scores of candidates. After result merit list will be issued by organizing committee. Candidates whose name will be placed in merit list will be called for counselling. In counselling seat will be allotted as per the merit, choice for course and college states by candidate and availability of seat.
