UPSC CDS Admit Card is released by the UPSC a month before the exams. the candidates are required to download the admit card from the official site of UPSC. The candidates without the UPCS CDS Admit card will not be allowed to appear into the exam. Why is CDS 2016 Admit card (CDS I) important ?

The admit card is a very crucial document for all the candidates to be carried with them to appear in the CDS Examination. Without admit card, no candidate will be permitted entry inside the examination hall. Most importantly, it is mandatory to carry the hard copy of the admit card only as soft copy is not be allowed.

How to  download Admit card:-

  1. Below are the steps to guide you to download the CDS 2016 Admit Card.
  2. Log on to the website
  3. On the right side of the homepage, you will see an active link stated as “e-admit Card-CDS Examination 2016
  4. Click on the specified link
  5. Once the link opens, select any one option from – Roll Number/Registration Id/ Name
  6. Enter the requisite details
  7. Click SUBMIT or RESET to re-enter the details
  8. On submitting, your admit card will be displayed on your computer screen immediately
  9. Check the details mentioned in your admit card
  10. Press the “Print” tab to print your admit card or click on the download link to be printed later.

  1. In case of any difficulty in downloading the CDS 2016 Admit Card, candidates will be required to contact the UPSC facilitation centre
  2. Candidates must verify the details mentioned in their admit card and in case of any discrepancy found in it, candidates will be required to contact the UPSC ADMINISTRATOR for necessary action.
  3. Candidates will also be required to carry one photo identification proof with them to the exam centre. The ID proof should be either of these -Passport,Voter Id Card or Driving License
  4. Candidates will receive rejection letters through email from the Commission at their email id. The letter will state the ground of rejection of their applications.
