WBJEE 2016 Application Form is now available , online, on the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE).The Aspirants who want to get admissions in various professional courses of engineering and medical can now fill the same through the below given links. These links for submitting, completely WBJEE applications and will remain open upto February 2016. The WBJEE 2016 entrance exam will held in April, 2016 in Pen & Paper Mode. WBJEE 2016 Reservation of seats :-
The WBJEE 2016 has mentioned the criterion for the seats these are the Reservation of seats under WBJEE 2016 will as per the policy of Government of West Bengal. However, SC/ ST/ PwD/ OBC of other states are not entitled to this provision. PwD candidates will be entitled to reservation only if they have 50% to 70% loco-motor disability. However, if seats under quota remain unfilled candidates with loco-motor disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% will also be granted admission under reserved seats.

WBJEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Fulfilling eligibility criteria is in itself minimum criteria to write WBJEE 2016. Candidates must check it before filling application form. Only those candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria completely will be allowed to write WBJEE 2016. Eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2016 is as below:
- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Applicant must be 17 years old, as on 31 December 2016. There is no provision for upper age limit.
- Applicant must have passed 10+2 form a recognized institution with English, Physics and Mathematics as core subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects as optional subjects. Candidate must have attained at least 45% marks in qualifying exam (criteria for ST/ SC/ PwD/ OBC is 40%) and should have scored at least 30% marks in English.
B.Tech (Marine Engineering) – In Addition To Above Terms
- He must have a subject combo of Physics, Math and Chemistry in the QE.
- It is required to pass individually in subjects – English, Physics, Math, Chemistry and Vernacular.
WBJEE 2016 Application Form
Application from of WBJEE 2016 will be released in December,2015. Authorities will not host forms via any other medium. To attain application form, candidates will have to access the official website and then follow the steps below:
- Access the link directing to WBJEE 2016 Application Form
- Fill in all the filed and sub-sections of field in application form
- Verify and submit entered personal details.
- On submitting details a system generated 7 digit application number will be allotted to candidates.
- Make Payment and end application procedure.
Candidates must secure application number safely, as it will be required to login. Application fee can be paid via safe payment gateway like Net Banking, Debit/ Credit Card or by downloading e-challan. Fee for all the candidates is Rs. 500, no relaxation will be granted to any category.
After paying application fee, a confirmation page will be displayed. Candidates have to download this page and send it to address below:

Once the application form is successfully submitted, candidates can download the hall ticket/admit card from the official website of WBJEE itself by entering application number and registration number. It is required to bring the Admit Card of WBJEE 2016 to the exam hall to gain entry. Candidates are suggested to keep the admit card safe till the admission process ends.

WBJEE 2016 Result
WBJEE will issue the result of the examination on its official website in June 2015. Candidates can download the Result of WBJEE 2016 by entering roll number/application number and date of birth. On pressing the submit button, result would be flashed on the screen. It will show them the marks obtained out of total marks. Thereafter a merit list will be released by the board indicating opening and closing ranks of various colleges and courses.
WBJEE 2015 Counselling
Counselling process will be held after declaration of the result. Candidates would be informed of Counselling of WBJEE 2016 schedule as per their merit list ranking. You can check the WBJEE 2016 Answer key after the exams. Allotment would be made hence to the candidates on their exam score, availability of seats, number of seats and reservation norms. There shall be multiple rounds of seat allotment.
